Geographic Information Summer Schools organised by Z_GIS aim at assuring top quality short intensive training courses and the internationalisation of GI study programmes. Participants consist of students of the UNIGIS network, international universities, interested members of the GI community and public and private companies from all over the world.
Lectures by distinguished scholars and researchers are complemented by workshops, lab sessions and excursions that give students the opportunity to prepare for an international work force, obtain qualifications and experiences in GIScience, and build strong inter-personal and team skills.
